The Northwest Atlantic Seal Research Consortium (NASRC) recognizes that healthy populations of all marine resources including fishes, seals, whales, and other species are important components of healthy marine ecosystems. We are committed to providing answers to questions by using comprehensive research data and analysis.

Research.
Our overall research goals are to better understand the ecological role o seals. This encompasses a vast array of disciplines and partnerships- from human dimension research to diet research- with research conducted with the support of the consortium itself as well as by determining data gaps and aiding collaborative approaches to solving issues. Conversations.
Through the years, the consortium has provided space for conversations. These conversations allow for solutions to be created for humans and seals to better coexist.
